Fournier "Mont Damnes" Sancerre
This Sancerre is a mineral Sauvignon Blanc with stony notes through the finish.
Tasting notes
Green fruit on a steely frame
Lemons and green apple lead, with white peach rounding a stony finish.
Chalky minerality leads on the nose, followed by green plum, green apple and citrus. The palate is steely, with wet stone and white peach on the long finish.
It is medium-bodied and bone dry. Bright acidity gives its lean fruit a crisp line.

A windy Terres Blanches parcel
Fournier’s parcel-led approach keeps Sancerre’s distinct terroirs central to its mineral Sauvignon Blanc.
Based in Verdigny, Domaine Fournier Père et Fils has worked in Sancerre since 1926, with 39 hectares across Sancerre, Pouilly-Fumé and Menetou-Salon. Its single-vineyard wines come from carefully selected parcels with exceptional terroirs, produced in limited quantities that vary by vintage.
