Domaine Brédif is established in the Loire Valley and is known for its commitment to producing high-quality Vouvray wines. The estate features troglodyte cellars carved into tuffeau stone since the 10th century, which are among the largest in the region. These cellars house rare vintages dating back to 1874, reflecting the estate's long-standing dedication to quality.
The grapes for Marc Brédif Vouvray are sourced from vineyards with clay-limestone and siliceous soils. The grapes are hand-picked and undergo pneumatic pressing, using only the naturally released juice. This juice is clarified before fermentation, which occurs at a controlled temperature of 64°F for two months. The wine matures on the lees for nine months.
