Tasting notes
Mint lifts the velvety finish
Blueberry, dark plum and blackberry jam meet tobacco, caramel and sweet vanilla.
Soft tannins feel smooth against the lush fruit. Fresh acidity and mint add lift to the velvety finish.

The river effect
Horse Heaven Hills' sandy soils and steady river-effect winds shape the vineyard conditions behind Mercer's fruit.
The Mercer family settled in Washington in 1886 and has farmed the land beneath its foundation vineyards since then. In 1972, Don and Linda Mercer planted the first Cabernet Sauvignon grapes in Horse Heaven Hills.
Most of Mercer Estates' red grapes grow on its Mercer Canyons farm. Sustainability and conservation guide the estate's farming and winery practices.
