Tasting notes
Smooth approachability in every sip
This bourbon reveals flavors of caramel, vanilla, and honey throughout its profile.
The aroma opens with a strong presence of caramel, layered with vanilla and honey. The palate mirrors this sweet aromatic profile, with caramel as the dominant flavor complemented by soft vanilla and a hint of light oak.
This bourbon has a medium body and balanced sweetness. Gentle spice emerges on the finish, which carries over the caramel and vanilla from the palate, concluding with the warmth of brown sugar.

Limestone-filtered spring water
Willett Distillery uses local spring water and a unique mash bill to create its distinctive bourbon character.
Willett Distillery, located in Bardstown, Kentucky, has a rich history dating back to its founding by the Willett family in 1935. After a period of distilling ethanol for fuel in the 1970s, the distillery resumed spirit production in 2012. Rowan’s Creek, named after the creek that runs through the distillery estate, is part of Willett's Small Batch Boutique Bourbon Collection.
Rowan’s Creek bourbon is produced using a mash bill of 72% corn, 13% rye, and 15% malted barley. The distillery employs limestone-filtered, spring-fed water from its estate, and the sour mash is fermented in stainless steel for 3 to 5 days with a proprietary yeast strain. The bourbon is distilled twice using both a column still and a Vendome copper pot still, then aged in new char #4 American oak barrels.
